Have him call me. I would like to talk to him. 864/630-1956
I still have a very very nice anchor Fortress. if he was I'll sell it for a reasonable price
Wow three yrs have gone by.
I just gave him your number, I have a 26 american offshore so i'm hoping he will take my advise about seat time & not get to cocky.

What power and true speed are you getting with a light load and the right chop?

It got a blown 522 making 747 on dyno, its been 110mph at 5600 on the limiter with 1.5 gears and a 34 hydromotive 4 blade, it got on the limiter in a hurry, im going to try a 36 next weekend for the tictaw 200, it got on the limiter quick so it shouldnt have a problem turning a 36

Are you talking about the AO or the HTM?
Best I got with no weight, perfect chop, and perfect air was 89.7 on GPS.
Imco extreme SC 2" shortie(which probably should have been an 1" shortie) 1:36 with a labbed by Mercury 26 Bravo. I never did try a 1:5 gear but always thought the 1:36 was hurting me.
I had a buddy who also had a SR 540 with a 1.5 and 28 and we ran side by side.
AOs are faster with less power, no cabin weight.

Better B savin more $$ fur them there blown outdrives
high 54 to high 56 on the rpm.
When I had stock drive height, the boat would lay over REAl easy. I told Steve that I was going to ski on one and barefoot behind it. I'm pretty sure the drive was a tat lower than what he normally would place them. I never did measure my X. Embrassed to say so.

My first boat Glastron GT160 w/135 Evenrude

Scotty Cannon, NHRA sponcered funny car a few yrs back, has a Talon with a big cubed pro-mod motor in it, split dominator with custom intake, 10 grand in CMIs, and a 500 shot of nitros. He put a number 6 on it. It would run about a buck 30
