guys/gals I need your help --I posted in v cat's "What Props, pitch, rpm, speed, power on 388? " but as you can see I need your help, in ext boxes, lower's, no box,box, imco, merc sport masters ect. running 572 @ 700 hp na.. help needed with set up, drive ratio ect. I HAVE NEVER HAD A STEP BOTTOM BOAT (family /self) as I said--- I know I'm not a premiume member but you guys have tried all the tricks to go fast !!please help?? first hustler in family!!

So you have a #6 boat now, and you want to switch to XR's ?????? Most people go the opposite way.

we bought a 388 that had #6's but prev owner took power and drives to put in his 38 top gun. ---but from what Joe @ hustler said this boat was a bravo boat out of factory.

you may want to think about the Arneson PM Rik he will know if you can plug the holes with them.

I think you would be better off finding a used pair of 6's to put back on. Will hold up better in the long run with your 700's.

I am wishing I had 6's now Its a matter of time .

My next one will have them. It sucks haven to back down the power you made .

where should we look for used #6s drives , trans. and transom assblys ?? got one quote @ 75 k that's abit over the top for us.

Too Old is selling his entire boat less motors for a great price (thought it was in the mid 50k range). Has 6's installed with trannies.
