Thanks for the info. A number 6 boat should handle and drive completely different from a bravo one. I am currently in the process in trying to sell mine so if you know anyone that wants one let me know.
Thanks again

it did ride a lot different.. what tabs are you running? 280's or 380's? he said the 380's were way to big for it w/ the bravo setup..
he said it did hop in the calm over 90 w/ the bravos..
what are asking for yours?

Could be. The SSM's also have a larger skeg which should give extra stability albeit with more drag. I've got a really high 'x' dimension. Maybe Rob stilll has a picture of G Force's stern. Rob and I put the 380 tabs on last spring. They definitely help get me on plane which has been a challenge, especially with a full load of fuel. Didn't get enough experience this last summer at high speeds to comment on how they affect stability with full/light fuel loads.

I think that's the first time i've heard a negative response to the 380's on a hustler.

You're correct. Rick Merola, the owner of Aqua Mania originally sold the boat to Mark. Since then, the 800SC's were rebuilt by Sterling and the Hubers upgraded to 1330's. I bought the boat in August of 2000.Long story, but last year Mark briefly owned a 42' Outer Limits with Sterling 1500's. He's had some wild toys. I know I'm biased, but I count my blessings that I stumbled onto such a fun ride. Rob's got some pictures he's promised to post shortly.
