92MPH at the Big Cat Poker Run Aug. 11th with 7 guys aboard and near full tank of gas and five big soft ice chests filled with beer, water and ice.
Scope run I averaged 75MPH, occasionally going over 80MPH when water conditions permitted.
Before I purchased the boat, getting a test ride in it with Joe from Hustler driving it, with our wives, total four people aboard and with about 80 gallons of gas, about a third tank, we hit 98MPH.

BeetleJuice, Saw a post of yours from 2007 where you bought a 388 directly from Hustler, and had Joe cut out 18 inches of the strakes. Wondering what drives you were using at the time? Plus if you liked the results.
I have a 2000 Hustler 388 Poker run edition which is in the shop right now, want them to do it, but they told me they talked to Joe, and he said NOT to do it on a bravo boat, it will make it porpoise.
Any info would be greatly apprecited.
Thanks
Bill
