Default Older 32 with asd's??

Any insight on how well the older 32's ran with asd's and about 475HP engines?? How were they compared to the bravo equipped 32's? Also, how roomy is the cabin and is the enclosed head useable? Thanks

Cabins are fairly roomy for a 32. They are comparable to a 35 Fountain, or Formula 311. Descent size v-berth for overnighting. How useable the head is will depend upon how big you are. For my wife & kids, it's fine. For me it's little tight.

Boat will fly with the surface drives. Only issue is typ. around dock handling. I would expect mid 80's out of that package.

110 MPH may be a little optimistic. I'm familiar with a 32 with 600HP 540's & ASD-8's that ran 104. But, another 32 with twin 750+/side ran around 120. Still descent for traditional deep-V, non-stepped hull.

A friend had an '84 with 500 hp a side running through asd 6 drives, he ran 84-86. Had to really air it out for that speed and it did get real loose!

Cave-man's boat was an '85 that was the Powerboat cover boat: 630 HP/side @103 when they tested it for the magazine.

Caveman ended up having blown 540's in it with intercooler. He ran 117 with 10 lbs boost @5400 RPM's. I understood boat may have gone to Greece with smaller engines. He goes by Knot-Right on this web site.

The two I referred to are different boats. 750HP+/side was in red '87 LE.
