We have 2 feet of snow on the ground now so boats are far from my mind, actually cars are too. The boats are just so much dam work though, the car you just put in the garage and it's good to go next time. Thinking about selling my Talon come spring, but once warm weather gets here it will be hard to part with it. Have fun with the Lambo, every time I drive mine it takes my breath away.

Hey Jeff -
This boat is beautiful but WAY over priced...get this if you can get the right price...

what is a good price? I think 200k is way to high???? myself

OL40SVX 01-16-2008 04:16 PM

Just a guess, but I'd say around 185k. I believe it has pretty low hours on it.

chuckd1025 01-16-2008 05:39 PM

Yeah, very low hour boat...i agree with him if you got it for 185,000 you did pretty well...

mwdill 01-17-2008 02:22 PM

Lake Cumberland has an 05 with ilmors and arnesons new,
i'm pretty sure it can be had for 235-240k.
they were pushing it pretty hard in oct.

Schweeng 01-17-2008 08:31 PM

Don't they also have an '05 with 525's -new.....
I think it was all white and then they sent it out for paint...not true? That is a nice boat as well.

Good talking to you last night Jeff.

mwdill 01-18-2008 10:29 AM

the 05 with ilmors looks kinda busy in the pics, but it looks great in person, paint job is very cool with shades of grey around the flames, wife did'nt like the pics at all but changed her mind (all be it just a little) we she saw in person.
believe it to be a 100mph boat.

Lmarth 02-15-2008 06:33 AM

I suspect Customryder might be interested in the Rockit. I've toyed with selling my Slingshot. G-Force is a unique '98' with only 380 total hors. It has virtually every option including a custom, three bolster rear seat. It was built with 800SC's and Number Five Speedmasters. It has upgraded Huber 1330's and 160 hours on a Sterling rebuild. I have no clue what it's worth. For what its worth....

I remember G-Force when it was new, Rick at AquaMania in Alex Bay sold it new Mark R. , that was quite a boat. Often wondered where it landed, every so often I see a picture of it pop up someplace. Are you the second owner?

Lmarth 02-29-2008 06:02 AM

I'm the third owner buying the boat in August 2000. As you know,Mark had a number of fast boats within a short period of time. Within a year, the boat was sold to Marty Flaska in Chicago who solely ran Poker Runs across the country. There were pictures in PRA,etc from Vegas to Key West. Within a year, Marty bought a Skater and I bought G-Force. All of these deals were through Rick Merola. A interesting story is that Marty ran the 1000 Islands Poker Run and tossed a back seat passenger into the front bolsters breaking some ribs. Marty flew a Hustler Technician to Chicago to install a three person rear bolster/footrest setup that later became an option on the Cheetah.Today, the hull has 383 hours on it. It truly is a unique boat that would cost a fortune to duplicate today. Maybe Rob (Strip Poker 388) could post the pics he has of the boat. G-Force is based in Rochester,NY, a stones throw from Jim Leonardo's Extreme Exhibit. I have no idea what the boat is worth, but it is a fun boat! Lou

Rob-Thanks for posting the pictures. You've been a big part of keeping this Hustler thread going over the years. Stay dry! Lou

OL40SVX 03-11-2008 03:22 PM

Im sure ive asked this question before, but how does G-Force handle with the speedmaster drives and with the weight in the back?? Stability at speed and for ruff water?? Im guessing better than a bravo slingshot cause the bite of the drives and the added weight.

Lmarth 03-12-2008 07:39 AM

I've never been in a Bravo Slingshot so my comments would only be based on my experience with the Speedmasters. The skegs on the #5's are bigger which probably gives more stability but with more drag. Keep in mind that the Huber 1330's move the engines forward. While not an Apache, the Slingshot hull layup is stout. I'm on Lake Ontario which can often be rough. The boat doesn't slap or feel like its coming apart. As for handling, its like a well balanced race car. If you point it in the right direction and don't do anything stupid, you'll be all right. I always tell guests that the riskiest part of the boat ride is getting it into the Hydro-Hoist. Anytime those big probs are turning, the boat's going somewhere. As you know, ride and handling are subjective and every boat design has a sweet spot and trade-offs of weight, etc. All I know is that I love to nail it at about 75 and let those blown 572's wail for awhile!

Strip Poker 388 03-12-2008 01:15 PM

peace of mine (speedmasters),When we nail a bravo boat,we see how long we can hold the hand granade:D
