the 39 looked real nice but i must say quite a bit over priced.
500+k :( |
I am surprised:(
|
All the Hustlers looked very dated. The Rockit looked like it was designed as a joint effort between Velocity and Black Thunder. Very awkward deck lines and windshield. The 388 is a million times better looking/ very sleek in comparison. The 50 with triple 700's was cool but getting tired in design.
They need some new ideas over there. |

they need to work on the colors they use on some of these boats also.. imo
|
Does anyone have any better pics of the new 39? From what I have seen so far, I am dissapointed....but the pics I have seen have not been very good. I really think they missed the mark on this one in the looks dept.
|
I have to agree w/ many on here. From what Ive seen, somewhat disappointing. It seems that since Paul left, the drive and desire isnt there. Back in 97-98 the slingshot was remarkable as far as speed and looks were concerned. as were some of their previous creations. The slingshot, although still a great looking boat, doesnt seem all that competitive when compared to the speeds that some of the newer fountains are running w/ comparable power.
The 50 is a beautiful ride as well but as not changed in forever. And, isnt the Razor basically of 40 w/ a tweaked deck and a platform. No bottom changes IIRC. |
30Spectre- I know that you're familiar with Rueckwald's Slingshot. If you know anyone who might be interested in it, let me know.

IIRC, His old slingsot was G-Force wasnt it? Had cobra power and 5's??? been a while.
|
30Spectre-Thanks for the quick response. 800SC's were rebuilt by Sterling. Number 5's behind Huber 1330's. 383 hours on hull which is a 1998. Always had heated, indoor storage. Every option. Rob, how ya been? Got my eye on something else. How's your boat running? Lou

i thought the 39 was nice.yes i think it was over priced. the dash and colors need a little work but i think they had some good ideas.

Pricing
We worked really hard to keep the pricing of the 39 Rockit down. The show pricing included many options, including the Navigation/Entertainment package which includes 4 Northstar that allows passengers to see charts, speed, smartcraft guages, plotter, video and more.
I know the OL 39' Quattro is around $691k with twin 700's. Does anyone know the price of a 39 Unlimited Top Gun with 700's and what speed she runs? If pricing is the only thing stopping you from buying the new 39' Rockit then feel free to call your local dealer and see how they can help. We tested the Rockit for over 4 months and she is designed specifically for speeds well over 100mph. She handles and rides beautifully at these speeds and if you are a serious buyer and would like to take a demo ride, please give me a call at 631-208-2933 and I will set you up for a ride once the weather warms up. Thanks, John |

Looked Awesome! |
Thanks
Just wanted to take this time to thank everyone that came to the show and supported Hustler. We really appreciate your help and thank everyone that helped make this one of the best shows we have had.
Thanks from all of us at Hustler Powerboats. Special Thanks to: ProRoc Technologies Funboats.de Performance Marine Specialties VoomVoom.com AquaMania Greg Timmons |
I'm a Hustler fan. I love the 38, and now 41, especially the dash..One of the nicest in the industry. The 44 is questionable, and I always liked the 50 but is an ageing platform in need of a little updating. I like the side elevation as well as the engine compartment of the 39 Rockit, Very Sexy...BUT...the interior and dash are not up to par in my opinion as the rest of the boat. Possibly some more bling, carbon fiber panels like the 41...it needs something...The glass fairing also looks out of place, not rounded out like the rest of the boat..just my .02 Jeff

BadASS
I spent a long time on the boat with Joe, thought the boat was sick! the lines look like a ferrari or something. Joe explained to me that they barely had finished the boat for the show and that there is so much more they are going to do with it. I know Hustler is very custom and you can get anything you want if you ask for it, so carbon fiber would not be an issue with those guys. All and all the boat was amazing.

HEY JOHN
i tried to get Mikey to get me pics , when the boat got to the show but .... i'll have to call him and break for not getting them to me like the 41's last year !! that boat is great looking ! Chris |
