Default standoff boxes

Can anyone tell me the advantage off standoff boxes on a 388 slingshot? I just bought my first Hustler. Thanks Jason

I havn't seen many Slingshot's with stand off box's, I believe due to the notched transom. I did have a 12" Stelling box on my 26' which was a straight bottom deep V. The box picked the boat up about 3 MPH but more important made the boat ride better in rough water.

just got back, will get some picks up as soon as possible. Funny subject, just saw the only other Slingshot I have seen with boxes, boat was Hustle this. Had B-maxs with boxes with NA motors, not for sure on horsepower. Tried to go talk to the guys before they left but could not catch them. The boat ran 92 in the Shoot out. It looked good.

Mine has Stelling extension boxes........on there when I bought it.....they're in the neutral position which is 1" higher drive height than without boxes
