Default tips on very loose 388 slingshot

I am looking at purchasing a 388 slingshot (1998) that when she hits almost 100, she starts getting really loose and walking on me a little bit. Has anyone else have the same issues? If so, what have you done to help correct the issue? Also, will I regret going from a 42 Fountain staggered to this slingshot? Please be honest and forward. Thanks for any of your input!!

Cool

Dumped a 2000 388 that recorded the best of 103.8 just for that reason, could never get it to settle down, family was always white knukled over 90 mph. After riding in the 42 over 100 we were sold, solid ride like it was on rails.

Been in both and would take a 42 any day over the 388.
