ok ill play 95 with 500hps 177 blowers 90 mph at 5000 rpms spinning 28 hydros probably seen it for sale on powerboat listings seems everybody i run into asks me that im wondering when they are gonna take that add down also snagged a pic someone showed me a while ago of previous owner serious air time

The speed quoted by the red one for sale was unlikely and I don't believe Hustler would have rigged the steering on stand off blocks, on my boat the trim and steering cylinders were fabricated by Second Effort for my hull. The Hustler that broke the 100MPH mark had 650hp. motors and the best the factory could get out of it was 106 mph according to "Powerboat" This hull with 900hp's hit 117mph, @ 600 rpm below redline. These engines are not super charged, blower, nor turbocharged, just carburetors, built by Talon Marine in Landover,MD

chine walk around 90. Right at that moment you bring the throttles back and then push them forward. Then she would track very well. With the second effort/ Arneson drives it rode best at 0 positive trim. With a straight edge I marked neutral on the indicators. I should have kept her. thanks for the advice i was wondering if it was just me or my setup i run mine right at neutral trim for best speed as well

Are the hulls a bit different if they came from hustler with surface drives? Do they still have a notched transom like the B1's on do they modify them for the surface drives?

There was a red 26' or 28' model with arnesons and small blocks for sale yrs ago (5 maybe). I wish I had picked it up. Anyone now how the small boats handled with arnesons and what kind of speeds with small blocks? I don't know why everyone with big power isn't running surface drives. I would have guessed with the amt. of money some invest in big power that a bullet proof drive would be on the list. I do know how expensive the asds' are. Just inquiring.
