This is the boat that you speak of I am unaware of the issue you describe I took the boat in trade as a result of a bad deal on a Top Gun, I only have the information and documentation that was provided to me. I would never deny anyone an opportunity to have a survey done or there own inspection, it is a moot point at this point as the boat is no longer for sale and is being repaired as stated on 9/9/20.

Yes I just sold my slingshot and may be possibly in the market for another. I know a local that went to look at one up in new england area and the bottom was shot. Was this it? I would possibly be interested in the boat but not at 65k if the bottom is shot and it needs the motors gone through. It is 15 to 20k to properly fix the bottom alone and that is if the stringers are not compromised as well as the core. So coming from someone that actually owned one of these and is looking for another its a viable question.

ok thank you, if it is the cabin core rotted I would recommend taking it to hustler. they have fixed a bunch of them and it comes out better than new and a much more rigid boat. hope you get it all squared away, looks like a nice package

One would have to believe OL will know how to fix it, and do a quality job of it.

I believe water would stay where the steps are on the 388, the way they are designed doesn't allow the water to run out past the steps and it would just sit in there and eventfully make the boat soft. I'm sure someone will go into more details on the issue
