Did your boat come w/B-Max's or did you install them? I've been trying to decide if I should go that route.

Hard On, beautiful boat, always liked that 40, classic offshore look, with some headroom. BTW, what is your headroom at the tallest point in the cabin, thanks Jeff

Jassman: my max height is about 6'2" this is after you enter and step down extends for about 4-5 feet at this height. Just right for my 5'10" height :D

Jeff is usually runs around 80-82 and some times depending on load and water up to 83-84

Jeff its going to be the other way around .Us trying to keep up with you. I think last year on the 200 we ran about 50mph most of the way . Some of the guys in our group can only run 60 top. We always stay together encase someone breaks down.Last year we had to drive back to slidell Chicken drop to pick up one that broke a drive so we missed Charlie's party sat nite.

Rob, thats usually what we do, cruise as a group. I know all about that breakin drive kinda thing:p :)

Here's a few of mine...just finishing up a refit bumpin' the motors to 800HP ea. and adding boxes and 2" shorties.

Motors just about done on the way to the water for the first test run.

Nice real nice!!! What type of speeds are you getting out of her with the power? Me in the process of upgrading the motors and drives as well, hope to be running by summer time!

The old set up was triple 625 HP's and no boxes...ran about 97 mph on the gps. I didn't get in the water til late last season and was way under propped...so I'm not sure where I'm at. If you run the #'s based on my old speeds, hull efficiency, rpm's, they'll tell you I should see about 117 mph...if I come close to that I'll be more than happy.
So what do you have planned for your's?? How was it set up and what speed's did you run in your old config?

My old set up was with trip 650's and imco built bravo 1's with bravo1 4 blade 30's a 1.5:1 ratio and we wre running 117 that way. Poker run edition though no air gen or full bath in her just a couple of seats. plans are 1000hp each and probable the weismann out drives adding air, debating on gen and fixing up the cabin to make it more comfy.

What year is it? Thats a good looking boat .With the new motors thats going to be some good speeds. Do ya have and cabin picks .I have never seen in side a 40

Hard On - Were they standard length lowers? Nose cones even with the bottom of the boat? Which way were you spinning your drives? Right now, I'm spinning my outers out and the ctr right. I plan to spin 32p 4-blade bravo ones on 1.36 gears @ 6000 motor rpm.

Strip Poker 388 - The boat is a 1990 and the Poker Run was 2000. I don't have any shots of my cabin right now, but a redo for the cabin is on the hit list so I'll shoot some before I start and post.

Grand: I was spinning out on both outers and to the port on the center.middle drive was cut down on the skeg can measure tomorrow for ya, b1's 30 pitch 4bladers will have to measure the nose cones for the height. heres a pic of drives if helps.

last one of make over during, it got cold so had to stop till it warmed up and my deck hatches come in. All the gray is going white, the purple floor is going to the pierelli style with a snap in carpet and ceter table, drk gray carpet linning the sides of the sofa seats with white backs, adding 2 deck hatches and hockeypuck lighting instead of the spot lights along with plexi mirror behind the sink and in the forward v berth with hustler etched in it.

Looks like a lot more head room,Definitely looks bigger than my 388

the stock exhaust is currently still on it, the engine is out of the boat and being rebuilt at professional marine in NJ and the guys are deciding what needs to be done internally and with exhaust, i will know better this weekend. I have dual ram marine machine steering, from factory. This boat is one of a kind and was featured at the Miami Boat show i think 2 year back...here is a pic of it at the show on display
