I mean why change it seems to run just fine!! forget about the 8(put in in the new 35)...for now... |

SC328 was an original marketing concept, but then converted to SC32

121.7 w. stock bravo 1 4 blade 34's no diffuser. Labbed 34's might have gotten me a bit more but I was about on the limiter. The 34's were a good all around prop. Spectre got up on plain super easy. Jay didn't even offer them w/ tabs & they weren't needed. My boat was originally owned by Nick Buis of Statement.

We are getting more aggressive with our set ups. We know the bar is constantly raised, so we follow that trend....i.e. this new 32 Ilmor powered boat. WE went really high on the X dimension. Fortunately is worked out awesome. We installed these motors on drivelines to move the CG forward little, to keep the top end handling good.

I am very happy with my 32. Very efficent bottom!!!!

Thanks NASCAT, heard your getting close with your project as well. Congratulations on it, from the photos I have seen, she's a beauty.
Yes we have quite a few projects going on, the new SCX43 is in R&D and the deck plug is in full swing now. Our new SCX36 is in design stages on the drawing board and will be starting plugs for that boat over the next coming month. We also have a new Offshore V-bottom that is currently being designed but still filed in the "top secret" folder. :) Will keep following the thread on your boat and cant wait to see her all finished. As for the Vee well if it's what we've all heard it's going to be then someone accidently unclassified it just long enough for us to get a sneak peak, nevertheless a sharp looking piece. |
Team Spectre is on the ball these days!! Keep up the good work and we'll keep slappin' em together for ya!!
Thanks from the Ilmor team- |

I was surfing thru the LOTO threads & saw a pic of this 32's bilge. The engines seem to be a foot or more futher forward than my Ilmor Spectre. I say this by judging the length of the tailpipes. How did you get the engines so far forward?? Did you shrink the behind seat storage locker? The pics below are of my original rigging & then the SS tailpipes I had added at time of purchase.

Time to bust out the titanium props today to crack 130! Good luck guys!

The new Spectres have been really sweet lately!
I think the outboard boats and the I/O's are equally good looking! |
I can tell you after looking at the 32 today at LOTO, it is one fine Cat, fit & finish outstanding. The color combo was great, the Ilmor's looked and sounded sweet.

LOTO Run
Thanks to Tim McDonald and Mike Flannigan for doing a superb job with the boat at Loto and Thanks to everyone who came out to support Frisini Motorsports and Spectre. We look forward to more great things with the company over the next coming months and will keep everyone up to date. Attached is a shot of the Garmin from the Ilmor SC32 of top speed they saw on GPS over the weekend. ( Top speed of 146 mph over the weekend. )

Very clean inside and out. I love the way the hydraulics can be plumbed into either side of the transom assembly, and no tees are needed.
