Beacon just did mine. I beleive it was 7.37%, although I locked my rate in at the beginning of the month. They also were way cheaper on the Documentation and Trailer titling. We sent our signed closing package back today and are going to get the Boat on Saturday. As far as Insurance goes My state farm guy was the best

I have said it before. Go to your credit union sand ask for a special deal. I am on my third and have never been over 6.00 % for a 20 year loan. Outstanding credit score is helpfull.

5.79 with an 800+ beacon, a loan over 500K and you have to prove that you've been in church every Sunday since 1978. No way. No shot.

99% of these rates, even the 6.99 are very hard to get. Oh, hopefully you don't own your own business because that's the kiss of death. Lenders want you employed by a corp, not self. The best rates I've seen are 6.75 for big $ (over 400K, PERFECT credit). Average good rates are 7.5-7.99.

BTW, I just added another lender that has been able to get 2 deals done (over 150K) for members that had been turned down in the last 3 months. 90% of the time a loan is denied because the paperwork presented to the underwriter is incorrect!
