Why have boat rates gone up so much in the last 2 years? Mortgage rates are up about 1% from 2 years ago and boats appear to be up 3%.

Boat loans are more closely tied to the prime rate, which the Feds keep raising! :mad: Mortgages are tied to the Treasury Bond index (10 or 30 year). That's why the mortgage rates are more stable than the Boat loans. BTW, I'm not referring to 2nd's or Home Equity type of mortgages.
