After i got hurt in my accident my credit reports were a mess...have to say its pretty amazing what you can do with a little persistance. So much misunderstanding out there, truth is, if you can't get rid of something negative the best thing is to pile positives on your reports...1 negative and 3 positives isn't a very good ratio but 1 negative vs. 20 positives and all the sudden it really doesnt matter so much. You can dispute it online typically with the Credit Reporting Agencies, thats the first step, many times that alone will get rid of a negative without much fuss.

After much thought I've decided to take the high road on this subject.
My score is high enough that it doesn't really make much difference at the end of the day. I'm right, I know it. He is wrong, could probably care less.
It will eat at me a little bit but I'll live with it.
