Insurance help
I have been having trouble getting full coverage insurance on my boat. It is a 1988 Fountain Fever 27/29 with 330's and does mid 60's.
The boat is only valued at around $27,000 including trailer. So far people such as Sy say its not worth enough to cover, and as I just went through Boat U.S./Progressive they could only insure me liability only for a low low price of $6291.00 a year. WTF, I have never made a claim or anything boat or car. Should I try to register out of state? What can I do? Thanks George
P.S. I live in NJ and this is the first boat I would be insuring.
