Mortage: Is this a good rate?
 
I am approved for $279k at 6-3/4. My credit score is very high. Is this a good rate these days?

That's about the going rate with no points and no origination fee. Also assuming the junk fees (processing, underwriting, closing and so on aren't out of line).

That's what I was thinking. In the process of building our house right now and keeping a very close eye on rates. I can lock @ 6% right now if I want.
