I am approved for $279k at 6-3/4. My credit score is very high. Is this a good rate these days?

Call me with any questions you have. I will be able to help you and if I am not licensed in your state at least I can let you know if it is a good deal. 6 3/4 in a great rate right now for a 30 year fixed mortgage... You can reach me anytime at 516 351 7894..

That's about the going rate with no points and no origination fee. Also assuming the junk fees (processing, underwriting, closing and so on aren't out of line).

would need to discuss your situation further, but if you meet all criteria can get you closer to 6%

That's what I was thinking. In the process of building our house right now and keeping a very close eye on rates. I can lock @ 6% right now if I want.

to many variables to just quote a rate without having all of the pertinent information.
