Default American Reliable Coverage Question.

Any of you insurance guys have any inside info as to whether or not American Reliable is going to up their limits on the boats they will insure?? 300K isn't that realistic anymore given the pricing on MOST new boats. Thanks

They are looking into it (I agree with you). They are also looking into increasing the Liability limit as well. These changes won't go into effect until fall (at the earliest).

Hey Chuck,

American Reliable is now offering Liability limits up to $500,000 & boat values up to $500,000. Top Speed is still limited to 130 mph. If anyone wants higher than $300K they will need a good boating resume. The $500K limits are not for new boaters.

If you need anything else, let me know.
