Default Loan with 633 score

I been trying to clean up my credit. Disputed some old stuff and my score went from 570 to 633. Any chance on getting a loan with decent rates and terms on 40k?

Down payment will be the key!The larger the down payment, the less the risk for the lender so it will make it easier for them to loan.

Cross colateral at your local bank may work. It helped me giving the bank my Excursion title with a 610 score and financed 65k.

Score went up again, now I am at 649! Almost 80 points in 2 months, not bad! Wish I began cleaning it up a long time ago!

I basically just went on freecreditreport.com and pulled my scores. On July 8th, they were

Experian 582 Equifax 576 Transunion 567

As of Sept 5, they are

Experian 649 Equifax 643 and Transunion 632.

What I did was dispute all the negative accounts, two were totally removed, the rest were updated. Its surprising how much stuff is inaccurate on credit reports. There was credit cards in the past that were my parents not mine, thier mortgage was on my credit at one point, there gas bill, all kinds of stuff that wasnt mine, but because the prior addresses and the fact that I am named after my father may not help. Thier stuff on my credit was in good standing, but it sure made me look as if I had a ton of debt.

Sooo cool to read, I am in the process myself. Had a friend dig into it for me and now all I have to do is send letters and respond to issues the best I can. Couldn't figure out why my score was so low until he started laughin telling me I had my mortgage on there TWICE. Doing the same thing with my insurance rates right now, as they have it down that an accident where I got hit from behind, sitting at a red light - was my fault. Just the $$$ from inacurate credit scores and insurance claim reports, can finance a boat alone!

Thats what Im saying. When I bought my Excalibur, I had to take a second rate loan with a high interest rate, and shorter term. In other words, my payment was 650 a month for 5 years on 25k. Now at the time, if I had realized I could have been cleaning up my credit, I could have bought a 50k dollar boat with a normal rate and a longer term, and lower payment.

But hey, live and learn.
