Default Insurance and older boats

Does anyone know of a good company to go through to insure a 20 y/o Cigarette? It seems like my current marine company wants over 2k a year for a '31 Bullet with stock hp. I was afraid to ask about upgraded power. Thanks.

I am using John Posey at Total Dollar.

He was the cheapest (by a good amount) I could find for my 90 Cafe Racer with Blown 600's and I did a LOT of searching.

I can't find his number right now but it is peppered throughout this forum section....

GOOD LUCK

Thanks for all the good leads.

I might have it nailed down through my homeowners(Allstate) They told me this morning between 750 and 800 a year.

Good talking with you today David

Steve, that's why they call it the Slowzarks.

Thanks again for all the good info.

I had a hard time finding someone to insure my 1987 Sutphen 30. I was turned down several times.

I finally begged my home / auto carrier (State Farm) and they insured me for $1300 / year with a $44K agreed value.
