Driving Class and Boat Insurance
How much does taking a driving class lower your insurance? Is it worth it for someone to pay $2500 for a driving class if you are paying close to or less then that amount in insurance per yr? I can imagine it would help if you had a 30ft plus cat, but what about a V under 30 ft?

In some cases our UPC course enables boat owners to get insurance. The discounts are usually 10% of the premium.
The value of this type of skill based training is not measured against the discount but rather the value of the class itself and the benefit of learning skills which will enhance your boating experience for the rest of your life.
