I have an 87 Pachanga 22 with 600+HP will definately run in the 80's if not close to 90. Boat will have full hydraulic steering(don't know if that matters). What is the best route and what should I expect to pay for insurance?
High credit score, clean driving record,$500,000 liability,40K stated value(I have a bit more invested).I have owned the boat for 8 years but have evolved to this HP-speed. My agent doesn't have an insurer that will go more than 450HP or 70MPH.
I notice many pokerruns require an ins policy now. Can liability only be purchased?

Markel is probably your best bet & they will require a recent marine survey (before binding).
Progressive will only insure up to 500 HP per engine (two engines max).
Let me know if you would like a quote.
