Both V-hulls and CATS, just remember that the program is based on top CAPABLE speeds.

Only boats that are 15 years and newer. You can call me and I may have another program for that but it won't fit is the "high performance program" sorry.

Why do you not write polices in FL?

perform330 04-11-2008 07:10 AM

I keep a boat in Florida and I use Berks Insurance. The site is www.insurancefromberks.com

BraceYourself 04-11-2008 08:59 AM

Your mission statement says your going to be the "premier provider of insurance to the boating communities of the US"
How are you going to do this when you don't right policies for the boat mecca of the US

I wish you luck, competition is good...

I do write in FL, just not the main program. The only carrier I can put you with for FL is Markel for high performance and if you have a boat under 65mph and under 26ft, then Safeco.

I WRITE IN FL. All I was trying to do was post/inform you guys of one of the most competitive program I have. I realize it doesn't suit everyones needs, but you can't please everyone. So, to clarify, I do write in FL.

WakezoneINS 04-11-2008 09:06 PM

This is what my website says, just as an FYI. I think when I wrote that FL risks are not allowed it was misunderstood. All I meant was that the one program that is most competitive doesn't offer FL. I do write policies in FL though with other carriers.

WakezoneINS 05-14-2008 11:01 AM

Just a reminder to all that this program is intended for EXPERIENCED performance boat owners with boats that are 15 years and newer.

We have other programs to accommodate the boats older than 15 years and for less experienced owners depending upon your boat type. Thank you.

I have Wakezone for my boat. I am insured for all of the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida. You will need a ryder for the Keys and East Coast of Florida. The one good option is they offer wind and hurricane insurance. Markel did not offer it for Texas. Stacy and Wakezone are very competetive and easy to work with. Check them out.

Dueclaws 05-15-2008 12:26 PM

Unfortunately, they won't cover older (although excellent survey) boats.

I know, nothing over 15 years old in the gulf states. Sorry about that.

Bump for Stacy - best price by far and excellent service. Thanks again

Under 70mph Top Capable, V Hull, 26-28 ft. I think we've found our boat but feel free to email me some pics or a link to the boat. [email protected]

Thanks!

WakezoneINS 05-22-2008 09:12 AM

I just wanted to point out with the increased number of insurance advertisers on OSO that we are still the only broker on OSO that is writing for the American Reliable program. ;) The program has great rates. I know that we've quoted many of you anywhere from $300 - $3000 less per year from your current carriers. Just wanted to clarify ;) Have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend everyone!

Gizmo 05-28-2008 11:33 PM

Stacey, I have my eye on a 98' Top Gun. Can you give me an idea what the premium would run per year? I'm 58. Clean record, no claims. I have been boating for over 40 years. I have attended and passed a CG safe boating course and a Nav. class.

With agreed value @ $85k

Thanks

waterboy222 05-29-2008 12:11 AM

I submitted my inquiry today. Boat is a 93 model. Im a Navtech certified marine surveyor with no previous boat ownership but quite a few surveys done. Boat runs under 70mph with current props , does that still make it a high performance boat?

Got it. I am traveling today so I will be getting back in touch with you tomorrow or Monday about your boat. Thanks for submitting your request. I'll do my best.

Stacy

Gizmo 05-29-2008 04:56 PM

Stacey, The gun has 500hps/470hp each motor, 95% inland use and maybe 70mph on a good day w/tide and tailwind. :D Most if my boating is on the James river and Buggs Island. Thanks again,
