Financing questions please help

Financing questions please help
Hi everyone,
Ok this is my situation, My wife and I are curently in school full time. we both have great credit, we own a home but we do not show income ( because we are fulltime students). I currently own a boat 1986 Baja sport 220 (no lien on it). we want to upgrade to a bigger boat we have $15,000 cash but it does not seem to be enough to get the kind of boat we want. It seems the boats we would like to have are in the $50,000- $70,000 price range. Is there anything we can do, any options I can explore with financing a boat.
Or should we just wait 2 years when My wife will be done with Dr. of physical therapy degree.
Also we have not talked to any loan officers, just figured I'd ask the question first here.
