Default Latest Rates?

Just got the shaft... was locked in for a while, but my boat isn't finished yet... anyway, they've now jacked my rate to almost 8%... WAY over what I was locked in at. Bunch of BS!

Anyone out there know of anything in the 6.75% area?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Stacy... Thanks for suggestion. I did leave him a message earlier; we'll see what he can do. I also inquired w/about 6-8 other places.

Hey, I also just sent you an e-mail. Put in an online app for a quote, can you check on that and let me know what the premium would be? -Thanks-

I think you are SOL. Rates are up for boats. I was just talking to a friend that owns local boat dealership and the best he can do is low 8's with perfect credit.

My best so far is 7.75 150K with a 774 fico, rates really suc right now. I may hold off until things settle down a bit. Perhaps by next spring we'll be looking a little better.
The problem is that so many of the Marine divisions are hurting from all the repo's and couple that with the many marine lenders that have closed their doors. The picking are slim

This is my credit union from back home in WI. I use them, even though I am out of state, for all my toy, vehicle and home loans.

Their rates are listed here but they also offer up to a 1% rate discount for having auto pay, good credit, and a down payment.

May be worth a call

Only shows to go max 60 months, same as my credit union. I couldn't afford those payments

Likewise Kyle. I appreciate your time and effort on this. Hopefully we can pull off this thing together and we all come out winners!
