Default Cafe Racer Ins?

What do you think a guy would spend on Ins a year? I called my Ins co Foremost and they won't insure it. I'm trying to get a idea. Anyone have one that would mind giving me a idea? Or who is a good place to call for a quote. I don't have a specific boat in mine. The ones I've look at for my budget have had modest power early to mid 90s if this helps.

When I had my 88 Bullet I met a guy at Loto that is an agent for American Family who stated he insured lots of older cigs. I was skeptical at first having been verbally told by State Farm they could insure it also only to find out it was rejected by the underwriter but he did insure it without any problems. His name is Ray Anderson http://www.amfam.com/agentlocator/my...agent=RANDERS1

You will need a current survey and will probably have to move all your insurance to AM.

I insure my Cafe Racer with Blown 600's with Stacy at Wakezone Insurance. Good Rate - she is on the board a lot (maybe she'll get me a discount come re-up time!!)

28, no accidents, tickets, claims. The rate was only a little bit higher than my state Farm Rate............ Everyone is happy with her service so far - I would look to her first.

for our 91 w/ the 525's we use Bob Luellen with Worldwide Marine Insurance. I believe its around $500 yr for typical midwest layup. Also have a $1M umbrella w/ our normal insurer State Farm which provides some overlap in coverage.
State Farm wouldnt insure the cafe on its own tho.

Hey Nova26~ I would be happy to help you out the best I can. You can call to chat with me or just fill out a form on our website. www.wakezoneinsurance.com

Markets are limited on boats over 15 years in age but we do have several. Let me know if I can help. Thank you!
