No problem re: change of subject. And thanks for all the suggestions.
I got rejected from one because my boat was too powerful for someone with no previous boat insurance experience. But Ogilvy and Ogilvy took it, it appears that I am all set. So this year, I will have a slip on Lake Ontario, instead of trailering, it should be more convenient.

Glad it worked out for you. I went through a couple of insurance companies too and kept getting referred back to Ogilvy & Ogilvy. the other companies I tried would not insure me because my boat is too fast for them.
What's your premium? They wanted $1000 for my boat. I didn't go with them yet. I have to get a survey done etc. etc...

I am surprised Mcmicheal Davis would not insure your boat due to speed.I know several people with boats that run well into the triple digits that have policies with them.

I think the year of my boat (1979) plus the speed scares insurance companies away. I am 34 and I have 20+ years of boating experience.
