I am within a week on closing a deal on a 33'Daytona.I have quotes on insurance between 1200 to 2400 a year with stock 454's.Is this about right & will I also need to get a boat survey?

That is about as low as it gets.

Wes - Unless the age of your 33' Daytona is 10 years or older, you do not need a survey. The quotes you have received look to be in the ballpark. Does it have stock 454's? I didn't even know they made one

That is dirt cheap! Do your quotes consider top speed?

I really don't know top speed,I guessed it around 70 mph with stock 454's.The boat is a 98'model,the guy I'm buying it from had different power in it,so the 454's are not factory.The value is around 70k
