I dont think I would not buy from somebody because of their outside political interest. I would because of quality and service of a product. This is just foolish. I mean if Progressive funds somebody who cares as long as its not a terrorist organization or somebody that is skeeming to become the new reich and take over the world. I mean really. If you looked into what every company you bought something from contributed to you would probably go nuts. Thats what great about the US not everybody has to be a crazy right winger or a hippy left winger, we can all be what we want.

Should have read this before i posted but right on. I totally agree i dont care either way I always pick the best candiate for me. But its gotten to the point and I think you see more with the right, but if you think something else then what this person thinks or paticular group you are communist democrat or a greedy hearted republican. You know what not everybody is going to be happy with every decision made by a paticular side, and I agree that politicians on both sides are out of touch. But it gets really annoying to come on here or my camaro forum and here that those rep or dems are ending america as we know it or the reason we have this or that is because obama did this. Get over it. Most of these people are people that walk around at home with tin foil over there heads thinking aliens are coming. And a lot of people dont vote, do public service, run for office, or do anything but want to sit back and b****. Being in the Military I really get sick of people like this and get very annoyed, some of you can come switch places with me or my soldiers for a week, the last thing on your mind would be who an insurance company CEO donates his own money to on his free time. You know what people contribute to this nation more than just giving taxes and then I think you would have the right to come on here and even then nobody has the right to tell others not to do something. allstate is low but look at what they really cover.............I just went round and round with an (adjuster) and nobody won but ALLSTATE .....American family on the outher hand rocks,I have never been with an insurance company that works that hard for there client 2c

Since I have all my stuff inasured by Farmers I had them insure my boat as well, $360 a year, hit a log last year and they paid me for a new drive without ever even looking at it, I just took pics and sent it to them along with estimate from repair shop and they paid me no questions asked. Cant beat that..
I had Progressive 5 years back on my car and it was nothing but problems, had to fight them tooth and claw when my car was vandalized and they werent that cheap.

I wouldnt have progressive for insurance and if I was hit by someone with progressive I would probably call my attorney before I called thier adjuster to look at my car. Running a body shop they are one of the hardest companies to deal with and always push the use of substandard parts to repair a vehicle even when thier insured hit you. I see things from a different point of view I base my insurance choice on how they are going to fix my car as well as the parts they want to use to fix it correctly.

I usually just lurk, but anytime I get the chance to bash those azzclowns (progressive) i will.

this summer my wife tboned a lady that pulled out in front of her. Wife had the right away. Other lady was ticketed. Police determined my wife had no fault, and no way to avoid the accident. The other lady even agreed!

Other lady's insurance was progressive. They tried to claim they were only 50% at fault. WTF!!! It took FOREVER to get it settled.

The sneaky bastards even tried to call my wife and say I had agreed to 20% fault. To bad for them, my wife was just as pissed aobut the whole deal as me, and told the adjuster to speak with our attorney, and we had nothing further to say.

6 months later, we finally recieved the $$$, after we paid to have our vehicle fixed with our own $$$

Good for you with the FARMERS I used them for about 4 years ,then I had a claim for some storm damage they beat me up a little but payed the estimate,two weeks later anouther freek storm came through and killed my new TV and several dimmer switches so they tell me they will pay the claim and then cancel me.

The guy said have you ever tryed to get home owners ins without curently having ins (it will be very exspensive I suggest you eat this one) keep in mind I have never....never had a claim in 30 years until the two weeks before the secound freek storm.........so I went to American family and then canceled Farmers
