I agree with giving a stacy a call. She got me insured when allstate dropped because of my age and driving (auto) record when I bought my 32 sunny. I had them for 10 years (auto, home, life, waverunner and my 24 Baja for 3 years.) and the told me they couldn't cover me because I was "under 30" and it was a "hi performance boat". So screw them! Basically my 7 years experience boating the bay and 10 years loyalty doesn't mean anything to them.

I use Allstate $700 for full coverage on a 38 fountain, haven't made a claim yet.

I was 22 when I started my policy, @ 16hp/ft.
How much power is in your sunsation, or what did you say top speed was?

Seems like we have had very different expirences. Going through their website or 1-800 number customer service is garbage, but having an actual agent they have been very good to me.

Are you referring to Wake Zone's 800 #? I find it hard to believe that "customer service is garbage". I personally monitor all messages left for marine related policies and I actually believe we spoke (although I am not sure). We strive to have awesome customer service and 99.9% of the time, we do! I am human and sometimes things can slip through, so if your call did, I apologize.

I've been out of the office for the holidays on vacation celebrating the holidays with my family and new baby so if we haven't returned a call from the office closure, I apologize but we will be returning all calls tomorrow when we re-open. However, like I said, I believe we've already spoken.

I meant Allstate's 800-number has poor customer service, sorry for the confusion. I have seen many of your responses here in the forum and your customer relations seem to be exceptional. Didn't mean to cause any alarm there, hope you've got to enjoy the holidays and congrats on the new baby.

I have Allstate on all three of our boats and the rates are more than fair. as far as claims go.....fantastic. that's all I can say about that right now.

As with any insurance, the agent is the key in my opinion. Get a good one and things are much easier.

Craig

PS- I've spoken with Stacy on the phone a few times. Even though it didn't work out best for me (age of my Cig.), she was very nice and gave great advice. I've heard nothing but good things about her.... Congrats on the new baby!!
