I had progressive. They sent a letter dropping my 38 Top Gun insurance. I called wondering why? I've never made a single insurance claim in my life other than business related. I was initially told they it was due to excessive speed, NOPE, my boat does not exceed their limit. Then was told it was HP, NOPE! My boat is within Progressive HP guidelines. Then their final reason was quote: "It is the kind of boat. You know, you have a racing boat, aka Cigarette RACING Team brand" I about fell over when I realized how ignorant the underwriter appeared to boat styles/brands when they insure boats! Happy I'm not with them any longer anyway now. I obtained agreed value coverage for the same deductible/premium.

Well Im glad Im not the only one who got screwed over by progressive ins.
