I agree with credit unions. However, make sure that they can establish a value of the boat. If it is a low volume custom boat they might have trouble. My bank tried to change my loan from a boat loan to a personal loan at a much higher rate because they said that they could not establish a value.

USAA Period. Longer terms than most credit unions and a great interest rate.
