Lots of people use them online but I only know of a couple personally. 2 had bad claims experiences and I'll never use them myself.

I hate progressive I know how they handle their auto insured. I went with Seaworthy thru Geico and really like them. Very fast to help if I need it. I have a Baja 405 and they accepted it with no problem at a great rate, over 1/2 of what progressive quoted. I don't know if they will do your boat but I would at least ask.

Had a nightmare claim with them. Long story but my boat was rear-ended in traffic. Driver got a ticket. Progressive worked with a repair shop to invoice parts that were not replaced. They left bent tilt rams, prop shaft and trailer coupler on the boat but they were on the invoice I got. When I asked to see my old parts the propshaft had different markings than photos I had taken of mine. Again, long story. Almost pulled it out of shop and called my attorney and the police at that time but I wanted to get back on the water. I was also threatened by my insurance agent who is supposed to be on my side. Avoid them at all cost.

I had them for probably 5 years, switched agents and switched insurance, no problems but never had a claim.

There was a guy I bought some parts from, 312 Formula on the trailer, came off the ball, trailer/boat hit a guardrail and then the boat launched into the woods. Progressive not only paid him, they found him another 312 Formula, and he even bought the wrecked one back from them. So not all experiences with them have been bad, this was probably back in 2009.

I deal with them thru out the summer months all the freakin time. They are tight cheap azzes when the boat owner has a claim. Can not stand working with them on customer claims boats. I would not use them - They find every excuse to try not make the claim work for payment out of their pockets and or allow for the cheapest fix plus think they are supposed to get away with it. Actually I hope they stayed out of the boat end from my view point. Waste my time all the time and get ZERO pay for it.
