In Michigan you can try Dave Blaz, he does surveys for boat damages. He recently bought Trost associates. He is a good guy and a ex-offshore racer from Breakout. His contact info is [email protected]

And it depends on the boat application and engine and drive applications who should be hired. If your app is a gas app I would not hire a diesel guy for the inspections and vice versa.

I remember in the past a boat buyer asking me what kind of outdrives was installed on the boat he was looking at because the inspection report he paid for --- was written outdrives unknown. They were B MAX --- the first gens. Just an example of what I am talking about here.

Our issues have been properly taken care of. NEVER EVER LET your insurance company choose a surveyor...........The following surveyors are insurance goons for Boat US and GEICO. They have and will lie about anything they can they are not forensic engineers but pretend to be one. We caught them dead in several lies and Boat US www.boatus.com ended up paying our claim.

Tri-State and Capt WIlliam Dials aka Bill Dials https://tsmsurveyor.com/
Davis Company Limited Charles Reininga and Ben Gommel of https://www.daviscoltd.com/
