Default Insurance 89 Sea Ray

Got an 89 Sea Ray Pachanga 27
Stock twin 350 mags
Had it insured with Progressive till i figured out they were way underinsuring my boat. Had it insured for $1500 with a $500 deductible charging nearly $1000 a year.
Called USAA they sent me to Progressive. I told them I didn't want Progressive so they transferred me to Markle. Have yet to get a quote emailed.
Inland water only

I believe he means that was his premium.

On a 1989 boat, he better insure it with whomever will write it. Never drop insurance before you have new insurance.

I told the agent that sold me the policy $15000 but apparently they screwed up and left off an important zero.

I thought about just liability coverage. Thats $220 for a year.
$15000 is fair chunk of money for me so i would like some peace of mind when out on the water. Just incase a guy were to hit something submerged or whatever.
