Umbrella Insurance

WOW. We have 2M and it is about half that with State Farm. State Farm prices on underlying exposures, meaning properties and things you own that create exposure, and what the underlying limits of liability you carry on all those exposures. So it is hard to just price a PLUP policy without also knowing the extent of underlying exposures a person owns and what coverages exist on the policies covering those exposures.

I am in Florida so all insurance sucks.
We have 1 Mil with allstate, $618.
2 boats, 1 car, 1 truck, home on the water.
Between those and health insurance we spend 20K a year and HIGH deductibles no claims, no tickets.
When I shopped that was the best I could do, others were more.
