Just curious how many 27' and 29' Kryptonite's have been built? Was the race boat SuperHeat the last one built? Thanks

I'm not sure if Superheat was the last one built, but there were two that were left over inventory and Superheat was one of them. I think Kirt still has the mold and might be building 1 or two a year.

I'd love to have a new one. They just don't fit my boating style at this time. 4 Kids and i use to camp out with the oldest two on weekends. So the Kryptonite just isn't big enough. They are still one of my favorite boats of all time. I was actually on my way to look at the white with blue stripe one with a HP-500 located in NY last year about this time and an emergency came up. I beleive it ened up in Canada.
Do you race the original Kryptonite, I met with Kirk and Rob in NY and looked at buying that boat to race in F1. Ended up with a 29'Fountain F1 boat (oh well we all make mistakes should have bought the Kryptonite) If you are racing this weekend in Patchouge good luck. We are coming down for the races.

Mine was built in '06, but not actually rigged out until early 07.

I cant imagine that TOO many were built, and certainly not too many are down here on the Chesapeake.

I am still looking for Marty to bring his down here, the black hull with white deck, apparently pushing over 700hp. Where are you Marty!!!!

I am estimating a bit over 700hp for mine, and I ran 97mph with a fair load on board. So it should be a good runner anyway.

I can run 92mph with 4 people and a full load of fuel.
