Hey guys saw the old Wanted F1 boat for sale at the races last weekend. Anyone have any info on this boat? What kind of condition is it in being an old race boat? Does in have a finished cabin or race boat only.

I talked to the guy about 3 years ago(he had it on Ebay). I have since lost his e mail and number. I think he lived in Moriches Long Island. Unfinished cabin if I remember correctly. Has a 500 EFI and he said it ran 86 MPH.

Yup, that is the same guy I spoke to 3 years ago. Back then it was in need of a new interior. I wonder if he ever put a new one in?

yeah he reupholstered the seats and had put a new drive on back in07 that was when it was on ebay i think.

the owner got pitched out of the boat and hurt his back as per a convo i had with his wife in 2008. the boats been for sale a half dozen times over the last 3-4 seasons. form the pics i saw of it last it didnt appear to be well taken care of. steering wheel was disgusting, cockpit was dirty, had a rediculous amount od stickers n decals all over it, upholstry was beat up bad, and cabin was just a very cushions. i heard about amonth ago it was for sale again for between $35-40k...i went to look at it in 07 and made an offer on the boat but we couldnt get together. top end was supposedly freshened up in 06 as well.
