The good and bad about being an old guy (41) is that I actually have couple of duckets to throw at a project, plus its easier to do it all now than go back and tear everything apart and replace the stuff. Im looking at your location on a google map and noting my <ex> in laws live in Bromont, and my company HQ is in Montreal! Do you boat on that River going by your town or tow it to the "Richelieu"- sp? I had town home on the Lachine canal for a while. Updates any...? Is the AC run off the motor or do you have a generator so you can run it when the boat's parked? What AC system is that?

No genny, or engine needed. The Unit is a Cruise-n-Comfort MES-2500 unit. It doesnt use compressors like a standard AC unit, It uses solid state peltier elements (the kind that cool PC chips) that can create heat or cold by reversing polarity. The downside is that it isn't that powerfull- 2500 btu's- but then again- its not really cooling or heating a large area- I figure if Im dessert camping having it blow directly on me will be sufficient enough. About another week for updated picts. The radar arch and interior are all that's left to do now then - SPLASH! Uncle Dave Laveycraft 2750 Ilmor 710 Laveycraft 20.8 Sebring 406 SB |

Thanks Perlmudder I'm pretty happy. ( btw your avatar is hilarious.) That's all gel coat and it was sprayed in the mold upside down and backwards. Good question n the tower- I'm not totally sure. Here's the spec... It will be removable, and the Bimini will clear it- It will be stainless steel My radar dome will mount on it. Lavey laid it up to be strengthened in the mount area (supposedly strong enough to mount a ski tow on it) and they've got a custom fabricator working on it. I haven't been dissapointed by the brothers yet. Uncle Dave Laveycraft 2750 Ilmor 710 Laveycraft 20.8 Sebring 406 SB |

soo close I can taste it now...
Testing the new apeiron LED lights- they will rotate red, white, blue, with each on/off click. Very cool- ridiculously expensive- Bilge lighting is halogen with LED supplements. Uncle Dave Laveycraft 2750 Ilmor 710 Laveycraft 20.8 Sebring 406 SB |
