Well..... if there is a marine surveyor involved your rig goes from a value of nothing - to blue book value based on your work and documentation.

First thing they do is start digging under carpets etc. Theyd have found your rot.

By "front ending" the process with documentation you come clean.

NADA has "blue book" values that are quite the joke.

Seems like they are less then half of what the boats actually go for. Do you think a tinted windsheild you look through is a bad idea?

Those values seem to assume no work gets done on said boats.

I like tints, but not in framed windshields- personal choice.

In framed windshield I prefer a gradient to a solid tint.

What do you think of the docking lights in the boats bow?

Couple of thoughts here- if you boat at all at night - well then you need something, or risk and accident or a ticket.

since 93 I've only ever done pop ups im always sliding off the front back and sides into lakes etc.

For me any "fixed" cleats or lights etc ultimately end up producing scars on me or my passengers legs.

If you dont swim a lot then fixed is probably ok.

I am getting the feeling I won't get into the water this year on this puppy. Depending how things go there is another one around same boat but with a 502 its under $5000 and im thinking get it to get into the water this year well I fix the current one up. the once mine is all painted and hull fixed and interior done maybe beef up the 502 some and switch it over to mine then put my 350 mag in the other and sell it.
