If by the twin race boat you mean a Super Vee then no we didn't. We built a 39' twin stagger setup boat and it has a half canopy. If anybody ever wanted to race it in the Super Vee class Lavey would be more than happy to build a top for it and make it a race boat...

It's only a 20 mile run, but it is all inland and it would certainly make it a pleasure to go to work each day!! I have done that with some of the center consoles in the past, but it is too much of a hassle to do it with the Top Gun every day. This boat is a 28? Is that correct?
What better way to commute to work than a RACEBOAT. Do it Wil you know you want to.

That would be pretty sick to be able to commute to work in a raceboat!!
The boat is under the Lavey roof now so if interested, give them a call at the shop.

And yes it is 28' 6" and runs low 90's with a 525
Lavey also makes a pleasure version with an open top and with an ilmor 710 it will run 105mph...
105 would be a fun ride

Wow, I thought that this thread had completely died. I'm glad that I came back to check it! Thank you all for the pictures and other comments. I just put a deposit on a 76 x 80 toy garage so this might be the wrong time for me to grab another boat, but I will certainly call them this week for the info. Thanks again to everybody for the help.
