This thing is one fast boat!!!!
It gets on plane with ease and accelerates like nobodies business!

Due to the small size of the lake we didn't have near enough room to hold it open and let it fly. Also because the engine is brand new and all that we didn't want to push it to hard...

With that being said, our prop for the run was a 33 pitch maxximus with the diffuser cut off. We got right at 100mph (98-99mph) at 5700rpm and it is still pulling hard! At that rpm, the engine sounds like it is just cruising.
The engines redline is at 6400rpm and it is planned to run at 6200rpm at top speed so that means we still have 500 more rpm to go. If we had more lake and some clean water, we could have gotten some higher numbers.

Once it's all said and done, we feel that 105mph is easily obtainable.
The customer is going to be working with Hydromotive to test out some 5 blades, possibly 6 blades...
That lake does get small at that speed. We only saw 97 there and ran out of room. That boat you tested is absolutely beautiful and a real rocket. I tried the Hydro P5x on mine and it was terrible, but that was before I had the bottom work done. May work great on Quents. I am running a Hering 5 blade with an extended diffuser and love it. Good luck with his boat, it is a showpiece.

Congratulations Quent!

Your boat is one awesome ride.

I've enjoyed watching it go together, and Im sure you will be thrilled.

If I ever get out your way, Id kill to go for a ride in that beast.
