Update ... The boat has been in my shop most of the winter ... Bill and I have rerigged the entire boat all cables and switch panels have been replaced ( salt water ) ... the power will be a 525 with an SCX imco drive / S/C lower . Should be out on the Chesapeake Bay this season as well as a few poker runs . The boat is legal to race with the OPA group ... might see it in a race or 2 ...

Engine as received from Mercury Racing ... had to fabricate new stringer plates for the new style offshore mounts also the boat last raced with a NXT drive ... had to fill and redrill stringers for the current Bravo set-up ... We installed the engine last weekend ... talk about a tight fit ... had to be installed sideways with the headers removed ... then turn 45 degrees once in the compartment ... Why is the hatch cut out so small ? lol
Tail pipes on order from CMI and Imco should have us a drive in a week or so ... Getting closer to being back on the water !

They must use that technique when installing the Ilmors in the EVO Sheeesh!
I was about a 1/16" of an inch from needing a little grease on this one and I don't have that deck hole arrangment
Looks like it will be fun for you when done.
