All Lavey regatta with a B&H thrown in. I never seen that many Nuera's all together either. I think I like the smoked windshields on the Lavey's now especially the low profile one's. I know that launch area very well also. Derrick what did you end up buying? If I remember correctly you called me a couple of times about 3 or 4 years ago.

I know that boat to. Yes it is very nice. Anyways what is Lavey's lay up. Especially in the engine compartment, stringers, transom
In the compartment alone is it, wood or balsa or XL 10 marine grade wood, Also is it resin over then clear coat or something else. Just asking cause I really like it. Also wondering how they get that very smooth finish of that look. I know the engine hatch is reinforced with balsa for the wood look. Thanks

Love the vacuumed balsa look though.
Company "S" actually rules this roost and makes this a feature (laveys a solid#2)
East Coasters don't have any idea what they are looking at when they first see a boat "s", as most have never seen a performance rigged V drive with a full plate system - and if the guys moving enough beans say 1000+ - maybe even a turbo 400 set up for 2 speeds.

UD,
In case there have not been enough comments, I just want to say that your Lavey is beautiful and the pride of ownership is so evident! She always looks great and the choice of colors/graphics are timeless. I pulled mine from storage a week ago and have it at a friend's shop and it is funny to hear the comments from them all; "that can't be gel, must be paint...." I can see where the paint lines end..." , I bet they clear coated it"
They just don't get it and I'm loving it!

Just trying to be subtle. Like saying the "N" boat in the other thread. Schiada is the manufacturer of this boat in this pict.
They are another So Cal custom shop with a long history and build fantastic unique products built with a high degree of craftsmanship.
Check out my friend Alexis 2400 HP 24 ft drive Schiada with a compound turbo & supercharged big block in it.
GT - thank you, I worked hard and saved a long time for this toy and Im very happy with it and proud of it. I know you will enjoy your machine for many years to come. IF you could see how good my 1991 lavey product product still looked you'd be astonished.
