Full-throt,lemme ask ya something.. how much HP is James Gang running? We have lots of experience with the 36 Spectre. We ran one to a nAtional Championship. Its a great boat no doubt, but its not as fast as a smaller, lighter Skater. Ive seen the video,Ive heard it from JimD., ive heard it from Bruce Miller, ive heard it from the 4 other people that were in KING Sting that day,ive heard it from the guys in the heli and all the stories are the same, they passed everyone.

Ha Fast Fun
Lets put some sanity back in to things. We did run out in front all day but on the way to the first card stop we had a good jump on King Sting and he got a little off course to the north. We were totally maxed out on that sprint and from what I could see it looked like he was catching us. My boat is dialed in real good, short drives, extended skegs, P5s, engines making over 750 each but its not a 160+ mph boat. All I can say is we had a great time it was a super group of people and beautiful boats. This year with my Sutphen we will be in the middle of the pac where I think its allot more fun. I'm currently trying to get together some more Sutphen guys to attend. See you guys on the 28th.

Deleted my obnoctious threads, I was messin with the little man and it went completely the wrong direction. I just wanted to see him get excited about getting out there and giving us a show. Great people, awsome boats and good times. Jim put it in a classy text, cause he is a classy guy, Im not... but Im working at it. Johnny your dads a icon on the lake, I am sure, some day... you will be building the boats to beat.

Ha Tim
Don’t be so hard on yourself. As one guy above said it sure gets a good show going for the people watching from shore, and God knows we are all guilty of showing off a little bit. Those fancy paint jobs aren’t for nothing.

Hey Jim,

That was me. Trash talk is all good as long as no one takes it personally. It does work really good for an event to have a "duel" against some really well tuned and beautiful boats. I know I would rather watch than be in the middle of it though

Very classy post too BTW.

I look forward to these events regardless of who shows up in what boat.....didn't make the Sacandaga last year, but had a blast on the LG run in my 22 Scarab.

Mahopac, good pt, as long as no one takes this too seriously, no harm done....

I hope I find a boat of my own to do a little trash talkin' myself, but until then I'm on the sidelines.

I will send you a p.m. to check out the link when its up. I think I have my noise issue closer to compliance, so I will drop by early spring to offer you a ride and let you check out the Db's. Im "hopeing" to break 90mph this year.I was mid 80's last year, Thanks, Tim
