More Magnum pics.....
Here are a couple more pics.....one with the new decals and one of the engines which are 1989 Mercruiser 320 EFIs. They are a Mercury high-Performance division product and have an operating range of 5-5400 RPM......apparently they were pretty cool back in the day.

Don't ever sell that boat ... You'll never stop regretting it !
By the way , where did you get the Magnum decals from ?

Re: More Magnum pics.....
Thanks for that !
I know it probably sounded like the supremely dumb question
but back in -98 my brother went to the factory on a fact finding mission and bought from them the last two pairs of decals that they had.. depleting a stock that dated back to the -70's.
It seemed from what they said that they were'nt using that kind of decal anymore and we had the last two pairs.
One pair went to the late Jerry Langer's daughter (for her many acts of kindness) to put on her dad's old Magnum 27 raceboat and we got the other.
And of course you know that no matter how hard you try someone's gonna try to mess the last of anything up if they possibly can .

I bought two from the factory last year, I don't think you got the last as mine when I got them looked like they had been sitting on the shelf for a very long time. Maybe it was the last of ones made out of a certain material, I don't know.

Re: More Magnum pics.....
It certainly is good to know that they're available at any rate.
There is no doubt that the ones we had were pretty ancient .. Magnum warned that they might not adhere but luckily they were fine ... At that point (1998) the 40 was the smallest thing they were making and they were using gert big polished stainless lettering for all the boats, so I was afraid that I'd never be able to get another set without considerable difficulty ... or resourcefulness

Re: More Magnum pics.....
The ones I got were surely old stock......but they said they have more and I asked if they would always carry them and she said yes.......
I might order more just to be safe.....
Not a dumb question by the way.......if I could talk about Magnums all day long....I would.
