24degree,First day i been able to get this darn thing to work again.Looked at your pit.and thats a windshield that anyone could have put on,seen more of them..What Vixen has is altogether different as you will see when i get the avator pic posted as that gives a good top and side view of her,and bottum too i guess.

The 2 "pointed" sports I've seen pics of both had the tall windshield.....exactly like the red one.

Hi,

I happened upon this thread, I have a lime green sport with the pointed windshield. It is a 73 with original gel, and the previous owner cut down the windshield. It was originally like the red on in this thread. When I bought the boat I heard that 2 lime green 73's were made, and one went to Chicago, the other to Buffalo which is the one I have.

Not the fastest in the world, but turns heads wherever it goes and smooths out the Lake Erie chop as good as any...

Thats the first one i have seen that is exactly like Vixen.Vixen had been set up with a plexy wind screen when i got her,but i think thats because you cant use glass in a race boat and had been changed.Vixen had been yellow when she was new,i kept running into it when i redid her.I knew Magnum didnt keep very good records back then. Yes, thats where I am in the summer. I didnt get out a whole lot on it last year, I am hoping for more time this summer.

I actually am moving to north of Dallas in August, found a spot on Lake Lewisville and am building ou there but plan on spending summers in Buffalo. So this year is kind of crazy, but I would love to be a part of any Magnum get togther! I actually might be closer where I am moving to, so it is a possibility, I will have to see how the move goes , $$$

At the very least a mini magnum get together somewhere around here is a must, which boat is yours? I will keep an eye out for you.
