Default 77 Starfire Freshening

I figure I will share my work on my 77 starfire with the rest of you Magnum buffs .I purchased George eisenharts "Grumpy Old Men " 27 Starfire last year. A beautiful raceboat with some kick ass history . Being the "make it better" kinda guy I am , I tore the whole boat down and will post the "rework" as time goes on .
Basically , I ripped out the entire interior , wiring , engine, steering , extension box, drive , etc.. Really not much left .
We will make it better George !!
I need to hurry up as it will be raced in the OPA next year taking on the name "Goumada ", my former 28 Pantera .
So her ewe go !

Crank and Pistons ;
3.75" stroke and 4.62 Diamond 9.5 to 1 pistons , Eagle rods -
Swapped out in favor of a Scat 4.25" crank, Scat rods , and new Eagle 4.620 pistons .

Gary and Karl of Rogers Speed Shop , Garwood NJ will be doing all the dirty work here , final hone , decking , balancing , refreshening of the heads , and assembly of the bottom end . these guys are one of the best out there for marine !
